Grant of nobility to one Gonzalo Muñiz, dated Jan. 22, 1504, the result of a suit brought by Muñiz against the town of Zafra, demanding recognition of a hijodalgo based on the 1469 grant of nobility to his father, Alonzo Muñiz. Series of suits, petitions, and appraisals in the successful attempt of Francisco Muñiz de Orellana, descendent of Don Alonzo Muñiz, to gain recognition as a noble to avoid payment of the servicio real, dated 1713, 1729, and 1796.
